Marshall Scott is a wedding photographer striving to capture “real” emotion. He uses his intuition and personality to help clients feel comfortable in front of the camera. His images are not posed, dark or traditional. Marshall’s edits tend toward a mint green tone vs. spring green. His images tend to have an edgy, pastel vibe which appeals to his 25 to 30-something audience. Marshall was looking for a brand to accompany his aesthetic.
SSC worked with Marshall through their 5-step visual identity process to come out with a logo and mark that is both professional and rustic. Inspired by marjoram, a plant that signifies joy and happiness, the seafoam green spring paired with a spacious, serif font results in a brand that is inviting and inspires trust—marrying the natural, organic with a more traditional structure.
“I found Sarah through a recommendation. I was searching for someone to fill a need in graphic design and web development, and what I got was so much more than that. Sarah makes it a point to form a relationship with her clients, and get to know them inside and out in order to brand them in a way that is completely true and unique to who they are. Sarah didn’t just call to get an opinion on a design and then leave. She treated me like a friend that had a very genuine interest in watching my business grow and succeed into what it has today, and that is an extremely rare thing to find. Every person I know who needs any service that Sarah can offer will be personally recommended by me. I could not be happier with the results!”
